No, for the record: Steve is not quite over the Jedi thing. And he can't imagine how he's going to explain that, or a bar that snatches people from random points in space and time, to Lu or Chips or even (hope against hope) his own Val.
But he's bringing help, perhaps enough help to finally topple Insinuous, so he doubts they'll take it badly.
Steve keeps his less conventional limb hidden behind the door as it opens onto a dreary-looking street, all boarded windows and litter, worn and clearly-occupied tents huddled into the available space between buildings.
"I guess if you get stopped for a search, you can always do the whole..."
