let's all go to the lobby..
Went to see "The Prestige" last night with absolutely no expectations (exept that David Bowie would be in it) and was more than positively surprised. I was reminded of "Fight Club", "The Fly" and for some reason "Jack Holborne" (the last one only resides only very vaguely in my childhood memories). It's an awsome movie with fairly unexpected twists and turns and a great cast (and did I mention that David Bowie was in it?)
Anyway, the Thin White Duke turned 60 yesterday and I came to salute to his birthday with a Singapore Sling (at least a Gin-based-Cocktail). Lord, I only hope they had to use some special movie-makeup to make him look THAT old for his role as Nikola Tesla...
