I'm only going to continue to bolster the SCAD choice up for you first because I am a SCAD student, and as you know I love it here ( ... )

I'm changing my major to software engineering, and probably just going to minor in physics (or just drop it all together for applied mathematics).

I looked into SCAD's master of the fine arts for game design and it looks really good, so I might go there for graduate school. Having a solid base in programming on top of getting my masters in game design would be a pretty good route for a future in video games.

Also, I don't really know why I chose physics. I was just good at it, and was interested in learning more.

If I end up not liking the classes in software engineering here, I'll just switch over to SCAD. ^_^

Good choice of plan indeed, my dear.

Hope it all goes well for you! Keep me updated on this of course.

Will do. If I don't like my grades at the end of the semester then I'm going to apply as a transfer.

How much do you pay a year on top of scholarships?

Cool. I get 10,000 a year in scholarship, a stafford student loan for about 3,800 a year I think, and then it's between 7,000 and 8,000 per quarter maybe. So after three quarters, around 23,000 out of pocket I guess. I am not entirely sure of these, seeing as they all go to my Dad, but that's what I could gather from my online statement for this quarter.

I was supposed to get 3000 a year from bright futures, but it never went through I guess. Those bastards...

Out of pocket for books and supplies per quarter (so at least three times a school year) is anywhere between $500 and $1000 depending on your classes.
