quick update!
So yeah, I'm really liking the people in my Italian class, which is really nice. Today Mary-Grace was talking about day trips she would like to go on (Sienna and Pisa) and when I said that I wanted to go to those places too, she said we should go together! That made me really happy. I am thinking about also going to Bologna and Mantua and maybe she will come with me there too :)
Otherwise, things are basically the same. I got to sleep in a bit today because I didn't have class in the morning, which was nice. And then I went to see Santa Maria Novella (even though the entire facade is covered in scaffolding--omg I was sooo pissed!) and it was pretty amazing. It is definately my favorite church so far. I hope I can go back to it a few more times before I leave. The frescos were just really beautiful and the whole inside was just magnificent.
