(no subject)
It's a beautiful day that I have spent sleeping and wontonly lazing around my apartment, and boy does it feel good! Ah, the joys of summertime.
I have lots to do to get ready for the brunch tomorrow. People will start arriving at 10am- that's early! What was I thinking?:-) This is just the motivation that I need to get my house ship shape and clean off the porches.. and do the mountain of laundry that I have been avoiding. And I get to spend some time in the kitchen today premaking quiche. I love things that you can do all of the prep for ahead of time so you don't spend all party in the kitchen, and so you don't have to get up too early to make it the day of. I can't remember how I made it the last time I made it... I should look in my cookbooks again.
