Ficlet and announcement
I've been fairly inactive here for a while, mostly because I haven't been posting on the kink meme or filling fills anymore ;n; But! I'm going to try to catch up a little better. And, hey, I found a ficlet I'm pretty sure I haven't linked to previously, way back in part 6. It's a bit silly and very short, lol.
Given the mad hijinks that had led to their relationship, Spock found it only appropriate to gift his lover with an Andorian fyrion, the closest approximation he could find to a Terran feline in time for their anniversary. He had logically selected this particular (male) fyrion because its fur was a shade of blue that perfectly matched his Jim's eyes.
Clearly, this was destiny.
Spock brought it to the bridge to give to Jim, only to have it run off when his back was turned! It wasn't until Uhura growled, "KIRK!" that he figured out where the fyrion had gone.
Uhura was currently wrestling the creature away from her chest.
"Lieutenant Uhura, I'm all the way - dear God, what's that?!" Jim gaped.
"After the sheer number of times you've sexually harassed me, it's reflex," she grumbled. "Will someone please get this damn thing off me?"
Spock obliged. The fyrion cooed happily as it settled on his shoulders. "It appears my gift is more suited to you than I first imagined," he told Jim later. "Given this turn of events, I suggest 'Kirk' as a name."
