Crashy

Moose woke me up at 7, which is about an hour before the alarm goes off. Oog. After some application of cold wet dog nose to my toes, I took him for a walk, which I can do instead of the lightbox as long as it's reasonably sunny. It's way nicer than the lightbox, but more work. In this case it's both virtuous and efficient, given that Moose needs walkies. I can't remember if he's supposed to get his arthritis medicine only in the morning, or morning and evening, so I've just been doing mornings. I hope I got that right.

I'm not certain if my subsequent crashing today was because of going out or it's just a random time for crashing. I have noticed however that I tend to conk out within an hour after eating, if I'm conking out that day, and even if I don't conk out, I get a lot of crash precursors.

I had artichokes for breakfast. Mmm. But that wasn't enough (I ate them plain, and I think an artichoke isn't really much calorie-wise), so I made the aforementioned chickpea soup. Zzz after every meal. A nice lazy day for zzz, though. Still very achy; not just muscle stuff from being on my feet, but crash stuff in hands and feet, too. Very fuzzy-headed.

I have SO much hair again. It's kind of a surprise. Really need to get it cut. But I can put it all up in a hairstick now, though it's prone to falling out. Or put the top part up to get it the heck out of my eyes. It's being a frizzmonster. My search for good conditioner continues; I'll try the Lush conditioners and see if they work. (So far there's only one conditioner I'd actually go back to; maybe I should just mail order some more of it. But I live in hope of finding a conditioner I don't have to mail-order.)

Four major crash days in the last six. Hope this clears up soon! It's not even really a bad thing; I'm mostly just very sleepy and spaced out and serene, moving verrrry slowly like unto the tree sloth. But I wouldn't want to be like this forever; I am not doing ANYTHING other than sleeping, a little bit of very light cooking, and some light reading that I am likely not retaining at all. I did like the Doris Egan series that amberley loaned me. It reminded me a lot of the Cherryh series, Foreigner, so I've been rereading that too. The nice thing about being spaced out is that books I've read are just like new!

blah, food, critters, health
