Woke up with a desire for fruits and veggies which weren't present in the house, and also pu-erh tea; loaded the dog into the car and hied me to a store where I could satisfy both of these cravings. I was kind of surprised that I was able to make it out of the house; I'm verrrry achy today, but I think the need for fresh produce outweighed that temporarily. Among other things I got some very small bananas (they're about finger sized, thin skinned, and quite nice), small secle pears, a small lemon, cherry tomatoes... basically it was a day for cute fruit. Also two large artichokes, an avocado, and a bunch of dandelion greens. The checkout guy seemed even sleepier than me, and it seemed in general a nice day to be sleepy. Consumed sauteed dandelion greens and rice for lunch. Crashed. Woke up. Crashed. The pu-erh is a sort of green pu-erh, which is surprising. I'd like to find an earthier one, but it's nice in its own way.
Had an impressively long bath, with epsom salts and a Lush bath bomb (ginger) bought during yesterday's exploits. It does smell very nice, and the aching has cut down somewhat. Am going to sleep now, despite having done nothing today; no doubt the nearly totally unexercised Moose will be demanding a walk bright and early tomorrow. Sadly, I had the last ibuprofen today and totally lack the energy to hit a store that contains it; I'm also running dangerously low on epsom salts, which I use a carton at a time and which do offer about the best relief going after ibuprofen. (And note to self; next time I go on a long trip somewhere that will involve walking? Pack ibuprofen ahead of time. I'll be much more transportable.) That's three full crash days in one week. Other than walking Moose tomorrow I will attempt to do very little.
