As much as I loath Western's parking services, they really love me.
On October 31st, my temporary pass for the Liberty was up. I'm not going to lie, I probably wasn't going to remember to renew it. If they would have just given me it until November 6th like I wanted, there wouldn't have been a problem. November 1st at 9:00 AM I had a 25 dollar ticket for that damn temporary pass being outdated. F that. I went to renew the pass but figured I would wait until the parents came down so they could give me some money to pay for it.
So I have my new car now. It is pretty sweet I must say. Parking Services is not open on weekends so I could not go in and get a permit for my new car. And I did not plan on waking up at 7:30 to go down there and get one. So I was walking back from Biology to get into my car and go to parking services and of course there it is. Only 15 dollars this time.
I get to parking services and the woman was a little short with me because my dad did not take the sticker of the Cavalier before he sold it. (We are supposed to bring any part of the sticker to parking services to get a new one if we get a new car.) The woman takes my info and what not for the new car and prints me up a new sticker. Then I told her I needed to pay these parking tickets and I explained the first one to her because she was confused. She told me to hold on and walked away for a good 10 minutes. She came back to the computer retook my info and then told me I didn't have to pay them! But I had to be on top of things from now on!!!
How sweet is that?? I have had three tickets and haven't had to pay any of them. Parking services really does like me and it makes me very happy. I'm not going to lie, when I got those tickets I was furious. Like crazy mad. I am quite happy that I do not have to pay them now, and I get to keep the 25 dollars my dad gave me for the ticket!
