Gurpreet was telling me that Martin was looking for me on Tuesday. I took it off to have a four day extended weekend and a following three day work week. She told me he was trying to find something to eat because it was our every other Tuesday lunch at the nearby coney island. I told her that Martin had already talked to me about that, and I had thought he said he was working from home on Tuesday.
Anyway, Gurpreet said she liked coney islands, and she invited herself along on one of the Tuesdays. I told her about the Chinese buffet we sometimes go to as well. She said she liked Chinese.
She then said, "Ask Geetha to lunch, and we'll tag along."
Now, I don't know what school was like for you, but there were a very small number of times a shy girl asked her friend to say something like this to me. "I'm going over Susan's house after school, want to come over there with me?" or "You should sit next to Susan during assembly." or "Susan wants you to ask her to Homecoming. She'll say yes."
Being a boy then though, I was still unsure if Susan wanted a smooch with all this.
Being still a boy now, I like the idea of Geetha maybe wanting a smooch. :)
Gurpreet did say this, but the rest is only happening in my head.
