Behold, The LJ Addiction
My brand new four month old really loving it because I could sit on the porch, couch, in the tub (well, probably not the tub) laptop died over the weekend. I have yet to make a LJ post or comment while sitting on the can, so you're okay there. I'll be sure to let you know if that happens. The fix it guy at CompUSA said he thought the light bulb that lights up the screen is dead, and if that's the simple case, he doesn't need to send it off to Apple and can fix it himself in a jiffy. A jiffy to him, apparently means five days.
I expected a jiffy to be a bit more jiffier.
So, I bought an iMac. Makes sense, right? A company makes a product that dies four months later, and what do I do? I give them more money for more of their wonderful product. That's brilliance baby.
How would I have been able to LJ otherwise?
