It could be a hexadecimal colour code for yellow, but that would be weird.

Like this.

Sorry. That's what you get when you read someone who writes their own LJ client. I think I cleaned it up good.

It's me being stupid with cut and pasting from two completely different editors. One supports certain codes while another doesn't know how to interpret them.

You bring up a number of different very interesting "big" subjects here and I'm not sure I can make a cohesive comment to each and every one of them without making it a whole essay -hmm, long-entry material maybe ( ... )

I too think it is never hopeless to get away from it. :)

Misery, although, does have a tendancy to dry up friends, It's a pretty one sided relationship where you are constantly trying to cheer up someone and they are constantly in need of cheering up. It can be very draining for those who are trying to help if it never does help.

... which reminds me -what happened to that LJ community for rant-addicts that we were to create? :D

Only a couple people seemed interested in it, and the person that was suppose to be interested was completely not.

It kind of died out, I think.

Maybe they weren't opposed to a community setting, but didn't want to be obligated to rant in their journal once a week. ;)

The community setting allows one person to post whenever they feel the need, and the rest to reply if they feel they have something to add to it. It would be a place to blow off steam without your own friendslist thinking you have gone quite mad. ;)

Okay. I'll try to figure out how to create a community this weekend if you promise to post the first rant, deal?

I've told many people that THE two things that decide your destiny and your life are the answers to these two questions, "What do I want?" and "Will I take the path of good, evil, or apathy to get them?". Everything else tends to be a further distillation of these two questions.

I think what we want plays a pretty darn important role in everything too.
