and yes work is good, i'm now on the CEO's "team" for pranks..its only me and a senior guy who know about the newly installed phone system/VoIP setup so i've been "required" to change the caller ID display of a certain technical director..from the bog standard name to "Tosser" `:oD so yea, everytime he calls someone in the company it shows up as "Tosser is calling..." i'm thinking of changing it on a monthly basis, keep him on his toes..and no, i don't think i'll get a verbal warning, we all can take a joke..he himself does stuff like that all the time, he seems to wait for people to leave their computer (toilet break/fag break) and changes their MSN name..two i've seen recently were:
"I love making tea for everyone as just signed in"
and one i almost fell out of my seat laughing:
"I broke my hand having a wank as just signed in.."
to work in an environment where you can still have a laugh and not be 100% serious all freaking day is cool, it still surprises me how laid back everything is, the other day one of the directors (yes directors not line managers, higher than those dudes) came in and starts shouting at us system admins "COME ON, DO SOME WORK, STOP TALKING, SHUT UP, FIX FIX FIX" - in a sarcastic voice of course and the reply he got? "oh fuck off..who died and made you fucking head teacher?"..i nearly farted cuz i laughed so hard..how was work for you today?
