I hurt...

Nothin like a good ol fashioned MSU riot. I didn't even drink and I feel like crap. Partially because I was sick before the game even started... but man does that tear gas hurt!

No, I didn't riot. That stuff just stays in the air a long time. The cops shot off so many canisters last night... it was crazy. We watched it all from Jen's friends appartment in Cedar Village. For the most part we could see everything. They only brought out the loud speakers twice... highly dissapointing, especially since that just incited the riot. The mob was loud, yes. But they weren't crazy yet. Man... when the shot off the first tear gas... you should have seen the people run. That's when the riot really started, the mob was pissed. The gas was uncalled for really. It just pushed people back and forth... from Grand to the apartments. At a couple points we had a nice little mob right under the window. We've got some nice pictures too.

So between babysitting and the riots, I hurt. I thought I was gonna throw up when I got back from the girls... downed some Ibprofen, felt a little better... went to Kristen's... ate a lot of pizza, screamed my head off at the damn refs... hung out the open window for a few hours... slammed it shut as soon as we saw smoke... It wasn't until we came back that the gas got bad, we had to walk Jen's friend back to her car so we took the street almost all the way around the building. They had shot off so much gas that it lingered, and then the wind pushed it into campus. My nose and throat were raw already from my cold and the fumes just aggrivated it. I walked the entire way with my sleave over my face. It kept getting my eyes too. I barely got any but it hurt so bad... I feel so sorry for the guy that had one go off litterally in front of his face. I thought he would be down for the count, he actually managed to make it out. Still... poor guy. His only crime was being outside..... well... maybe. lol

meh, I should work on my paper. I don't wanna though. Maybe later.

Peace
