Hmm... resolutions eh?
Soon, i'm going to put my "two cents" in about 2006, since i'm not that impressed with the writer's polls from The Drum Media, who didn't even mention many of the artists i supported last year.
Upcoming, i have Saul Williams (accompanied by CX Kidtronik & another guy) at the Gaelic on Friday and my friend's 21st Showdown gig at the Lansdowne on Saturday, but i might also go to the Hopetoun tomorrow night and Wednesday night.
Then there's the last gig with the current line up of Dead Inside the Chrysalis on the 13th (also featuring Neuropa and The Follow). Heavenly Noise Ron's 50th Birthday trilogy from the 19th to the 21st of January. And i'm sure plenty of other gigs too, such as Switchkicker on the 2nd of February and The Birds of Tokyo later that month.
Also in February, there's HALO_22 [BESIDE_YOU_IN_TIME] DVD / other (newer) visual formats [HD & blu-ray]. http://www.nin.com/halo/22/index.html
Difficult for me to comprehend the concept of more NIN haloes already. Wish those fan remixes that TR liked had gotten onto an official CD... whatever happened to the expansion packaging for [with_teeth]? Not sure if i'm ready for a new album just yet, but hopefull by the time it comes out (after my birthday) i will be.
Other releases to look forward to include .hinge, Mz Ann Thropik and The Locus Scene, amongst many others.
And as you probably know, i have plans for my Birthday on Tuesday the 24th of April, so keep that date free. Mind you, not much is confirmed yet and i'm somewhat concerned about how it's going. But SOMETHING will happen even if it's not what i've been planning. Stay tuned.
