Luna Park
So many negative useless things i've been tempted to type up...but have been trying not to wallow in it or burdern any potential readers with.
So, what good things can I write about? Finally went to Luna Park (as part of a belated Birthday gift) with Robert & Caroline yesterday. Went a few weeks ago but only did dodgem cars that time due to poor weather.
Was fun! Was very nervous beforehand for some reason...had been stressing out about my shoes (or lack thereof) so ended up wearing wellington boots to fulfill the closed footwear condition of some rides. That turned out fine. First ride we went on was a super spinny one (I suffer from motion sickness) which I survived being turned upside down & on an angle, though I did close my eyes for part of it, the view was awesome though, so I had to look.
Went on almost every ride. The tall slide was pretty frigging high! The top was so steep that I did feel a little nervous (Caroline didn't do the slides at all)...I'm fine with heights if I have something to hold onto, but there was stuff all to hold onto! So I had trouble getting my boots in the heshen(?) bag due to yes, being quite scared. But I did it & slid down fine, all was well, it was fun. However, out of the two slides, when we went up for a second go, I opted not to go on the steep one again & went on the other one again instead.
Getting distracted by John Safran & Father Bob on the radio.
Anyways, ...no, still distracted. Um... Oh... Hmm... Uhhhh...
