Though she's also looking just in the hope that she might find a Sanji under a bush somewhere, and may stop to pounce a spider or two (they may survive the experience), and eventually just make a tally of everything she can find

[Ikki is out in the forest as well, doing some combat training. He's surrounded by fire, apparently doing some sort of "fighting shadow" training, except that instead of his shadow he's using the fire as sparring partner of sorts.

There's no risk to approach him, thought. The fire isn't burning anything and won't harm Katie should she choose to approach him.]

[No, Ikki hasn't stopped his sparring even for a second, neither has looked at where she is. In fact for all he knows she may be hiding and not in plain sight, but it doesn't matter. He can feel her there and that's enough for him to know she's there, unless the child is capable of echoing her Cosmos across places to make it seem as if she's in one place when she's in another.

He keeps fire-sparring, the flames that at times come out of his body piercing the ones he's fighting. Sometimes the shape of a fire bird is seen in either of the set of flames.]

[Nope. No Cosmos echoing unless she learns the art of Chicanery, alas. You're also not going to get an answer, Ikki. You're putting on far too fascinating a show for her to pay attention to the fact that you asked her a question.]

[Ikki doesn't mind. For the moment, so he keeps his training for a good while.

He soon moves from plain sparring to practice his special moves, specially the aiming of his Hoyoku Tenshou, see how much he can focus all the flames to just one objective and how many targets they would get to if he wanted to use it against multiple enemies.]

Depends on what you are referring to. I could teach you but it's unlikely the results will manifest in the same way as mine do.

Oh, I don't think so. My days are full of learning things already. I couldn't possibly fit another thing in. But if you offered, it would be rude of me to turn you down.

[He's still looking at her seriously, basically piercing her with his eyes. She says many things but the only message he can pick out of all that is that she wants, or at least is curious. Not willing to show it but with the way he is looking at her he wouldn't blame her for hesitating about showing it.]

But again he can't blame her, he had always thought, back when they were took by Mitsumasa Kido, that he was ready for whatever training he had to go through to become a Saint. He had made Shun train even harder than they were already made to. Yet, at the end, none of them were ready for it. They never talked about it but he knew that each of them had had a hellish training.

But then again, that was to proof that they were worth of being Saints. She's not asking for that. Maybe... But he's not a teacher.]

[Yep, her Cosmos is following him after all. Now, let's see where could they settle... He doubts she will keep wanting to learn for a long time, but still he may as well humor her a bit, she will probably be content with a bit of fooling around.

He stops at a clear in the forest that has a rock as tall as Katie there. And will wait for her to catch up with him while standing on said rock.]
