[Have sword, will travel. Katie's in the forest today, travelling with ...a purpose. She's hunting for Sigmund's shoe. Though she's also looking just in the hope that she might find a Sanji under a bush somewhere, and may stop to pounce a spider or two (they may survive the experience), and eventually just make a tally of everything she can find

[He's still looking at her seriously, basically piercing her with his eyes. She says many things but the only message he can pick out of all that is that she wants, or at least is curious. Not willing to show it but with the way he is looking at her he wouldn't blame her for hesitating about showing it.]

[It's a statement made with the firm belief of a dogma. But again he can't blame her, he had always thought, back when they were took by Mitsumasa Kido, that he was ready for whatever training he had to go through to become a Saint. He had made Shun train even harder than they were already made to. Yet, at the end, none of them were ready for it. They never talked about it but he knew that each of them had had a hellish training.

But then again, that was to proof that they were worth of being Saints. She's not asking for that. Maybe... But he's not a teacher.]

Hmph. I'm not a teacher, Katie. And I don't have time to waste trying to teach someone who isn't interested.

[He turns his head, not looking at her.]

Though now that I think of it maybe it wouldn't hurt to revise the basics of my training from zero. I just hope no one will start following me and giving me some company while I do, they could learn to do what I do after all.

[No, he's not saying that aloud, raising his voice a bit to make sure to catch her attention, to tell her that if she wants to learn she's welcome to follow him and train with him. Not at all.]

[Ikki hums in apparent thinking. The fire around them dies as he does.]

Now would be a good time for it. So go look at something so I can leave.

[Not that he waits for her to, he just starts walking.]

[Teehee. She'll just wait for him to be out of sight before she ninjas off after him. Rustle, rustle.]

[Yep, her Cosmos is following him after all. Now, let's see where could they settle... He doubts she will keep wanting to learn for a long time, but still he may as well humor her a bit, she will probably be content with a bit of fooling around.

He stops at a clear in the forest that has a rock as tall as Katie there. And will wait for her to catch up with him while standing on said rock.]

[Well, she'll keep up the facade and stay hidden, but he'll certainly be able to tell her cosmos is climbing that tree just over there.]

[Still hidden, eh? Well, that's good, if she's there she won't get hurt.]

Hmm... I think first I should make sure I haven't lost shape, and this rock here is an annoyance anyway. Let's see... The smallest amount of power of a Saint.

[He'll give Katie a small show, there won't be any flames thought. Ikki won't be using his Cosmos, just punching the stone... There's a loud sound, of something breaking and less than a second after the rock is destroyed, not just break but turned into dust leaving only a mark on the ground to testify of its existence.]

[Looking at that squeaking tree with a suspicious glare.]

I hope I didn't scare you, old tree. I won't hurt you, I promise.

[Okay, so now the tree is giggling. Clearly this is tree-speak for "Oh thank you, I am much assured."]

[Ikki arches an eyebrow at the giggling tree but decides to ignore it. Instead he will sit down and extent his arms, setting his open hands in front of him.]

Let's see if I remember how this was done. Focus my energy in the palms of my hands, concentrate in making it flow towards them... Control my breathing and slow it down as much as possible so it doesn't drain too much energy.

Hmm, it may be better if I close my eyes and imagine that I'm trying to push a rock with all my strength. I have to focus on that as much as possible.

[He won't be focusing all in his hands thought, instead he'll be keeping close eye on Katie's Cosmos, curious to see what will the child do. Sit and watch? Or will she actually try it too?]

[Oh, she will try. She's very good at imagining, too. Doubtful that she's successful, but she is very much giving it her all. ..and making faces of fierce concentration to boot.]

[He can feel her trying, her Cosmos flickering and changing as she does. She does have a good level of Cosmos for someone of her age, not to mention that she has basically two Cosmos inside of her. And they seem to move at the same time, it shouldn't take much longer until she can feel and see the effects of the exercise.

Meanwhile Ikki's hands begin to glow, as he keeps concentrating the glow seems to transform acquiring an orange color and finally appearing as if his hands were on fire. Given Katie's lack of training it's probable that it won't acquire such a defined form on her first try but it still should show up.]
