Maybe they were just playing a trick, and they'd come back and be all 'surprise!' and then Katie would sulk until they felt bad and brought her icecream or something. Such was as her imagination went. Their scents were still everywhere even if their things were gone; they couldn't have both gone home at once

Dragon fighting sounds like a pretty big task.

Very big. And then they'll have to stay out even longer because all the villages will want to celebrate and it's ... it's hard work. Being a hero.

There are lots of dragons, all the way past the mountains. [It's okay, new person. Katie likes the idea that someone took her seriously.] Thank you. If people pray enough, I bet they'll return just fine.
