Meet Squeaky Ball:
Jodie found Squeaky Ball while we were gardening, earlier. (We also found what appears to be two entrances to a rabbit warren in the Bee Garden. This explains why she likes to go sniffing around in there, but if there are tunnels under there then I'm not sure where the other exits are.) Duck has apparently been abandoned in the garden somewhere. I wonder if the current batch of wandering around with Squeaky Ball and whimpering are due to the impossibility of getting Duck back while her mouth is full, or possibly because she's forgotten where Duck is.
She's been out and about a bit today, doing Far Too Much Jumping Around, so she'd got a bit muddy: I sat down with some kitchen roll and cleaned her shaved patch, and the incision seems to be doing ok: no redness or inflammation. I'm a little concerned that there is red skin around the front-most pair of nipples that were shaved around, though. All the others look ok, so I don't think it's the shaving that's done it. I'm trying to decide if it's worth phoning the surgery tomorrow or if it can wait until we see the nurse on Wednesday, but I think it should be ok to leave it.
We had our riding lessons this morning. I had quite a good one on GB, but the Baby was being a bit crap. Poor lad's sick to death of riding around in the school, which he's not keen on at the best of times but usually puts up with as long as he gets plenty of hacks as well. Hopefully, it will stay dry-ish for the next couple of days: we've pencilled in a hack on Tuesday, and it would be nice to let them both have a bit of a blast.
