Costume content!
I finished the doublet that was started for my son before his major growth spurt. Hooray! Another UFO checked off. That was a major one, too. I've listed it on Etsy with the breeches. I'm also debating selling my first ren-faire outfit. I just don't know that I will ever wear it again. I think I can let it go though. Maybe I'll list it this week.
I was in buttonhole hell for quite a while. The ones on the velvet doublet were a bear. Then I did all the sleeve buttonholes for my red wool medieval dress. All 22 of them. Now it's on to the eyelets for the dress. Oy. My deadline is the medieval fair outside Montreal at the end of the month. They have a recreated medieval village location! And now that I have a Quebec driver's license and have access to the shared car program, we can do some exploring outside the city. :)
