part 2 of... the queensland adventure
seeing as how i have no idea where i was up to.. i'll just repeat myself. haha.
yeh Brisbane was nice, did some shopping there, and did a lot of walking around and actually took the bus around to a few places!! The hotel we stayed at was basic but comfortable. I'm just glad i had a laptop with wireless network access!
anyway, we caught a bus to the airport and checked in our baggage to jetstar for the connecting flight to the whitsundays. And ended up paying $200 between us for excess baggage fees!! Shan just about spat it and he didn't even have to pay the money as i used my plastic. Having said that, the flight was nice, as he plane was decked out in flash leather seats and was comfy and very steady flight.
Shan's been picking up chics quite a lot recently. haha we went to a surf shop, and he was given a number and email address for one of the chics who worked there, then got the number from this chic on the plane - an english backpacker who was very nice, and this other random chic at a bar i think. I'm starting to lose count.
Anyway, got settled here in cannonvale near airlie beach on the Whitsunday coast. The house is a big double story place, and there are 7 of us in total living here. All of them are nice, funny and very laid back. We all went out last night and had a pretty interesting night at a bar, and then a 'club'. And i swear absolutely NO ONE can dance. So shan and i burnt up the dance floor to gasolina, and got a lot of looks and attention. But we missed Yan and his illegal hips sooooo much!
Today is a relaxing day, and will probly head down to the beach to chill and tan.
I start work on Tuesday, as Monday is a public holiday so i still get paid :)
