as of next tuesday i will be working in tropical paradise
well after much prodding from mynxii and kae_dash and everyone else, i'm finally updating my LJ with allll the juicy goss thats happened up til now.
1. new bf - so much better than the old one haha. this one actually has a brain located between his ears as opposed to between his legs. steve is his name, but i'll refer to him as billy goat. totally nice guy with these huge green eyes, and has been adopted by kae-dash mynxii and all my friends :-)
2. new job - working for the whitsunday shire council. So right now i'm in brisbane having a few days off. And shopping! whee! There are so many shops here, its like perth city only bigger and newer. The mall has soooo many cool shops and awesome malls like carillion and that other one in perth. Cept that over here the malls go up and down and underground and around and everywhere! I've decided i like this place and will definately come back.
3. new home - i've officially left perth and all my loved ones to come live in the whitsundays to work for a couple of years. AND THEN COME BACK! YAAAAAY! So i had a farewell party last week (or was it the week before?) at the leederville hotel, and most my really good friends came to say bye, and buy me a drink or 3. haha! i was soooooooooooooooo trashed! But it was an awesome send off, and everyone had fun, and it was nice to feel loved. oo by the way i've moved over to queensland with my best friend shannon, who can only be described as the str8-one-who-seems-gay-until-he-opens-his-mouth. I'm actually really thankful that he's with me, i'd be sooo lost without him!
ok so here's whats been happening since we left.
*set scene at airport*
i rocked up late (as usual)and found a huge group of like 20 people waiting for me!! i was like OMG i wanna go in there and there and there, and i want that that and THAT! And the boys here really aren't that good, although when there is a guy worth looking at he's goddam gorgeous. shan of course has been walking around with his tongue hanging out his mouth! speaking of tongues, i got mine pierced yesterday. The needle part was bearable, but getting the bar in took forever and that was painful. I shut my eyes, and apparently there was blood and drool everywhere! But anyway its sort of healed and feels really weird. Billy goat loves it though :-)
Back to the story.. we checked our bags in, got our tickets and went to the departure lounge. Then they started to board and we had to start the goodbyes. My god that was hard. My entire family was there, and Shan's family, all my closest friends and cousins. There were lots of tears from me, and everyone else. I couldn't stop til after take off!
I'll have to post part 2 later, as we need to check out now.
