New Year, New Projects
Happy 2012, webernoodles.
My day's been spent loafing and knitting, with a stopover at This Old House for dinner with my family.
Apparently my mother has learned a valuable lesson this holiday season: Angus gets Christmas presents, no matter what. She didn't get him anything because, and I quote, "he's just a dog and he doesn't even play with the stuff he's got." Angus was VISIBLY UPSET when everybody else was opening presents and there wasn't anything for him, to the point where my mother handed my father two gift bags and told him to go wrap up some of Angus' old toys so he had something to open.
Now that I actually have a stash, I'm participating in a yarn stashdown on Ravelry. I've already started knitting a hat, and I hope I get it done before I go back to work on Tuesday. It's supposed to be cold out!
I should go to bed early tonight, but I know I won't. That's one resolution I can't make, because I know I won't keep it.
