INTERESTING ANALOGY
In CCS first movie, Sakura and Tomoyo go in China during winter break. Meilin will run into Tomoyo. In CCS second movie, it is Shaoran and Meilin that go in Japan during the summer break. This time, it is Sakura that trips on Shaoran!
THE STREET OF BIRDS vs THE BIRD CAGE
In the first CCS movie, the intrigue starts in the street of birds. In the first TRC movie, the story happens in a world consisting of a huge birdcage and in which every human is closely related to a bird.
FORGOTTEN MEMORIES
In CCS, if Sakura fails Yue’s final judgment, a misfortune will happen to every person that has been in contact with the Clow cards: they will forget the dearest to them.
In the second CCS movie, the capture of the Nothing card might cost Sakura her most cherished feeling. That feeling is her love towards Shaoran which she hasn’t confessed yet. Before Sakura can convert it into a card, the Nothing attacks one last person. It steals Shaoran’s most precious feeling instead of Sakura’s because at that moment he has bigger magic powers since Sakura had already used much of her magic power that day. Just before loosing his memories, Shaoran bravely tells: "Even if I am to lose this love, I'll come to love you again, Sakura." Sakura knows it is too late but finally tells her true feeling to Shaoran: "You may not care me a bit now but I don't mind. I love you. You're my no 1!" But a gentle voice answers her, "You're mine, too." He didn't lose his feeling!!
In TRC, it is Sakura that forgets every memory that she had with Shaoran. But since the story is not over yet, there is still hope for that perfect couple :D
REVEALING THEIR LOVE
In CCS, Shaoran tries at several occasions to reveal his love for Sakura, while in TRC, it is Sakura that tries to confess her love to Shaoran!
