In CCS, Sakura must find and retrieve magic cards while in TRC, Shaoran must find and retrieve memory feathers.
CLOW DESCENDANTS
In both stories, Sakura and Shaoran are closely related to Clow. In CCS, Fujitaka, Clow’s reincarnation, is Sakura’s father and Shaoran is a descendant of Clow. In TRC, Sakura is (or at least, we believe) Clow’s daughter while Shaoran is of Clow’s line. In both stories, Fujitaka loves archaeology.
ORPHANS
In CCS, Sakura has only a father and Shaoran only a mother. In TRC, they are both orphans from both sides, but, as readers, we get to see their fathers.
