* * I haven't posted in months... I'm not sure how much I will continue posting in the future. I don't keep in touch with many people through livejournal anymore.
* * I just wanted to say, I'm happy. Life is good.
* * My job isn't particularly exciting -- in fact, it isn't quite what I'd like to be doing. But, I'm going to be very busy in the coming weeks, so I won't have much time to notice. I'll also be putting in some overtime and making extra bucks! Woo!
* * My network is slowly expanding in the Boston area. I'm pleased. It was so much easier to make friends at school when everyone was my age +- a few years (I work on a program where I am the youngest by 5 years). Most people are 30+, many are married, and quite a few have kids. But, the young engineers at Raytheon are a lot of fun.
* * I've been dating a guy from work. Everything is swell. You might even say things are going swimmingly! Yay. More details if requested, but probably not to be posted here.
* * I'm working towards running 4 miles in 30 minutes again. So far I'm at 4 miles in 33 minutes. I was getting shin splints with all of this running in my crappy, old shoes. Thus, I bought fancy new running shoes on Friday that make me somewhat giddy. They rock.
* * Everyone seems to be getting engaged! I know of at least three friends of mine that got engaged in the last few months. Ooo, one friend got his now fiancee a really awesome non-diamond engagement ring that is utterly fantabulous. Not many people do non-diamond engagement rings anymore. So sad. I prefer them... people used to have engagement rings with all sorts of different stones... until DeBeers came along. DeBeers has some marketing geniuses on their staff.
