My First Show
My First Solo Gig

Location: Young Life Cabin Germantown,TN
With:The Fews, Two other dudes with acoustics I can't remember right now
So I played my first solo show on Friday, and I must say it could not have gone much better than it did. The place was awesome (its a cool modernized log cabin on poplar, with a cool little quasi-stage), everybody there was really awesome and nice, and I played about 30 times better than I thought I was going to. There were a surprising amount of people there, way more than I expected. If you were one of these people I thank you sincerely. I put out a tip bucket and I got everything from a ten dollar bill to french fries to shampoo samples. Then the fews played all their stuff acoustic, and it was fantastic. I was blown away, I wish my band had been that good at their age, and they are super-swell guys too.
This was a huge confidence booster, and needless to say, I will be doing it again.
