Day Eleven
Today was a celebration lunch for me for being accepted to Wartburg. I totally put Ramadan in the back of my mind, and enjoyed myself. It was only after I was done eating, that I realized I wasn't supposed to eat. Lucky for me, the rules state:
"If a person who is fasting eats or drinks something forgetfully, his fast does not become invalid."
So, technically, I'm still good. I went a little longer than sundown without eating, though, to make up for it.
The Simpsons premiere was fantastic. The opening scene was the aftermath of the movie, and I couldn't help but laugh at the whole thing, from the "I WILL NOT WAIT 20 YEARS BEFORE MAKING A MOVIE" on the chalk board to Spiderpig/Harry Plopper sitting on the couch in the house. Stephen Colbert was in the episode, so I'm excited for Monday's Colbert Report, because you KNOW he's going to mention it.
The Family Guy premiere was absolutely fantastic. They pulled off so many spoofs in that hour alone that it was hard not to just keep laughing even as the credits rolled.
