I'm pleased to report that I can jog 25 minutes straight on the treadmill without stopping. My God, that's huge for me - I could not have run more than a couple of minutes if that without stopping for a breather, say, 18 months ago. I can probably do more too, if I seriously seriously push myself. I want to be able to jog 4km without stopping - that was my original goal about 2 years ago - and you know what? Maybe I'm not far off it. I've just never even contemplated being able to have the stamina to go for that long without a break.

I am pushing myself though - yesterday I was surprised to run for 20 minutes so today I stretched it to 30 minutes (walked to warm up and cool down - around 5mins) and upped the pace a bit. As it stands I'm doing 30 minutes cardio and 30 minutes weight training. Have done it 2 days in a row now so that constitutes a regular pattern ;-)

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my gym membership is still active so I will make the most of it while I'm on holidays. I really like meandering down to the gym knowing that I have all the time in the world. It feels good. And it means that the countless meals that I'm having every day in restaurants with friends are not such a big deal :-)
