Wednesday Night is Wing Night
We used to have our weekly wing nights back in the day. It was great, you pretty much showed up and there would always be a few people there to enjoy some 25cent wings with you. Haven't done that in a while. Not since the last time I came back and visited. So today was great even though only J and me went out and not the whole wings crew. We split a plate of Hot wings and ordered real food too. Real bar food. Bar food is so yummy, you pretty much can't go wrong with it, you've got wings, mozza sticks, burgers, and all the tasty deep fried badness. I got a chicken burger which i could choose any wing flavour for, I thought that was so neat, usually they just give you burger without that option. I opted for lemon pepper chicken and got a ceasar salad with it. It was amazing, so much cheese and bacon bits, I think the chef's must've added something extra to make up for their mix up and delay, the food took forever to get there. Overall though it was a good night and I ate way too much even without all the Maltesers I gobbled up while helping M wrap her presents and watching Home Alone her house. It was just like in the good old days.
We discussed the upcoming D party and thought of some more foods that would work. I found out that it's more of a creative thing than a "D" thing... meaning I could bring Double chocolate chip, Desert, or even Datermelons (instead of watermelons). Apparently we should dress up "D". examples, Lady D, Dracula, Donny Darko, Donald Duck etc. I wish I would've know earlier cuz then I would've brought my vampire cape with me. O well, I'll think of something, maybe I'll dress like a Dude - just borrow some clothes from brother. haha.
