Urinetown the Musical
Joe and I thought Lyric Stage's production of Urinetown the Musical, which we saw yesterday, was excellent. The cast was amazing. We'd seen Urinetown three times before this: Vokes (11/11/2006), Lyric (9/17/2005), and Broadway in Boston (1/11/2004). Christopher Chew played Officer Lockstock in 2005, and Caldwell B. Cladwell in the new production.
I especially liked the klezmer music in 'What is Urinetown?' and was impressed at Steven Bergman filling in for Dan Rodriguez as music director.
