Florida Haikus by Derek

The sea seems bigger
Under an ocean of stars.
Drowned in sound and void.

The hot summer burns.
Florida winter freezes.
Weather always wins.

A Hurricane's scream
is not as scary as the
Hurricane's silence.

Copper clouds roll by.
From where does this magic come?
Plain copper street lights.

The rain is so cold
In winter here, we might as
Well just call it snow.

HIGH COUZ BY TEH DERK VAN VAN
INSPIRED BY BASHO.
TAKE MY POEMZ, NUKKA, AND I GETS BUCK.
