Exchange roots with Malfoy, Weasly.
It's been an odd sort of day thus far (As well as Cappy!!). It's been quite nice - good food, lunch with Mary, a visit with someone I love very much, and got a LOT of work done. But due to the general overcast, foggy, dreary mood set by the weather, as well as the rain, I can't help but feel a bit...bleh.
As well as toiling away on some real work, I've been working on a couple of profile sketches. All of the pictures released from Cap!movie, as well as the fact that I am greatly enjoying all Avenger and Cap titles at the moment, have left me in a mood to draw Steve and Bucky. I think I'll do Sam tonight, as well, because I have a boner like woah for him.
ANYWAY.
I do love drawing split/screen. This is half Bucky as, well, Bucky, and half has Winter Soldier. I miss his long hair. It was so...bouncy.
Oh Bucky. How can I go from vehemently despising a character to absolutely adoring him in the space of a year? I need to get on Mary about that Captain America/Inglourious Basterds crossover.
That new costume. Just...wow. The star and the stripes bugged me for a little while, as I couldn't help but feel that Steve looked like a pair of shoes. But seeing him in 'action', it's just so...him. It's an authoritative change, which I like. Plus the new Capstume is way too shiny for him. It's made out of candy wrappers!
