Update!
Boston is fine, everything is going well! It's very, very cold, and I'm wearing long underwear EVERYWHERE. Brrrrr! It makes a huge difference. I'm thinking about getting some lined jeans from Land's End or something. I really need new pants.
My friend K is very kindly keeping me busy and making me feel very welcome here, which is awesome and really helping with my almost crippling homesickness. It's insane how homesick I am; I was gone for longer in the summer when I stayed at the lake, and I was fine then.
Oh, well! Soon it will be spring. I'm trying hard to not worry about the rest of my life until at least February!
