Write me letters!

Oh camp. And its major ups and downs.

For those that I haven't kept in contact with so far this summer, I'm at camp. I live in a bunk with 18 12-year old girls, and I have 3 absolutely amazing co-counselors - Liesel, from Nebraska, Allison from Texas, and Dee from England. It's the same camp I worked at last summer, but it's definitely a very different summer. Better, for the most part.

My girls are really quite good, and I even have some of the same girls as last summer. Teaching dance has been going well, and I occasionally get to teach improv too (actually, I am all day tomorrow). There's nothing huge I can complain about, and yet these past few days have been an emotional rollercoaster. True, I have been a little sick, and my days here are very long and tiring...and of course I miss home and Darrin very much too. So the combination of all these things makes camp life hard, but I really am having a good time here. I think it's just easier to sit here and complain about all the bad stuff. I don't know...I'm glad I'm here, but I look forward to it ending and getting back to my life. I really have met some amazing people this summer though. It's the people here that make all the difference - and little things, like seeing a group of girls doing a dance in the dining hall that you taught them earlier that day.

I just wish I wasn't so tired all the time.
