Thank you! And yeah, I figure I will do the ceremony. One of my bff's Jill was like, "BUT THE ROBES WILL MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE YOU GO TO HOGWARTS" and that semi won me over lol. And that sucks about uni for you. :( But part time isn't so bad, at least you haven't had to totally drop out. How much longer do you have?
And Merlin Harry Potter AU! It honestly took me by surprise. I've been writing here and there, but I was thinking about it whilst I was reading Chamber of Secrets the other day and figured I'd throw some words down on the page and (this was at about 8pm) I ended up writing until 1 in the morning which I haven't done in forever. I think I'm going to break it up into two fics though, because otherwise it's going to be a hot mess in terms of timeline and stuff lol. I'm planning on plotting it out this afternoon to kind of figure out what scenes I want where and to, y'know, give it a little more overarching plot instead of it being just OMG!!1!MERLINARTHURHOGWARTSMAGICQUIDDITCHDIAGONALLEYTRIWIZARDTOURNAMENTGWAINEYAY!!1!!!1! Which is what it kind of is at the moment haha.
And yessssss. I feel like they've taken her character from A to Z without running through the rest of the alphabet. It's actually gotten to the point where it's bothering me as well, and usually little bothers me about the show because it's kind of ridiculous on all fronts. I tend to overlook the levels of dodginess and the lapses in the script and the plotholes, but what they're doing to her character is so, so ridiculous disrespectful to the character and to be honest, unfair to the clearly talented actress who plays her.
