Hey! I made a new layout! :D It's Catherine McNeil and Abbey Lee Kershaw from the September issue of Vogue Australia. Check it out. flash_indie. I rather like it. Lyrics are from 'The Lighthouse Song' by Josh Pyke.

Gossip Girl - 3x01 - Reversals of Fortune
I am so happy that this show is back. It’s ridiculous.

The Blair/Chuck thing continues to be fabulous, and I like that they haven’t diluted the two of them down as a couple. The role-playing is both hilarious, and very in-character (especially Waiter!Chuck at the end, omg, lol, that was fantastic).

I also really like the new Serena storyline, and a lot of people are saying it doesn’t make sense, but I think it does. I’ve read a lot of people asking why she wants her dad’s attention now, but she only found out where he was in the last season finale, and hey! He rejected her! The acting out is actually kind of sad, but it makes sense and again, I feel it’s in-character for Serena. She’s always been a character who’s desperate for both attention and affection, and I like that she’s not trying to find it from Dan or that creepy artist anymore. I like that she’s back to partying again. She was a little boring last season, so it’s nice to see her back to her attention-whoring ways. I’m also quite glad at Carter’s reappearance.

Nate/Bree? Idk. I haven’t been interested in a Nate-related plot line since the end of the first season, and this doesn’t seem to be grabbing my interest either, but whatever. It might get good. Same with Vanessa, although I just think that that’s because the show doesn’t seem to utilise her as a character at all. I mean, she hasn’t really had any serious character growth in her, instead the writers seem more interested in using her as a catalyst for drama.

I felt the gaping loss of the HBIC Lily Bass though. ;___; Can’t wait until she’s back. Eric was a nice fill-in though. It’s awesome to see him looking out for his sister again. They seemed to live separate lives for a lot of last season, so it’s nice to see them interacting again, even indirectly. (Can him and his boyfriend get more screen time though? Come on, CW)

90210 - 2x02 - To Sext or not to Sext
This show continues to be fabulous and drama-filled.

I liked the little bit of Navid/Adrianna drama tbh, because even though I liked the pairing, Navid came across as a bit of a Gary Stu last season, so the fact that they’re painting him as a jealous wretch at the moment is great. I mean, hey! He’s being developed! In a normal teen way! That’s awesome. I like that Adrianna isn’t all “OMG, CUTE! IT’S A SIGN THAT HE LOVES ME!” like a lot of teen soaps/Twilight seem to do as well. She’s not impressed! In fact, she’s pissed off at his efforts to be a controlling douche, and that’s awesome too. I look forward to Navid realising the error of his ways so he can go back to being super presh as well.

Liam/Naomi! My heart. I still love these too, and Naomi’s worry at the surfing was great. I like that she was doubtful about the Annie thing as well, but only after Annie wrongly admitted to it. I thought that was quite cool, and a very Naomi thing to do. Jen is a massive ho though. I hope they sort her out and get her off the show in the next few episodes. I’m bored of her manipulative skank tendencies already.

Dixon and Silver continued to make me sadface, and I continued to not really care about the Annie plotline. It was a nice twist that it was Freddie at the end of last season who saw the body though. I feel like maybe I could get into Freddie’s character if they develop him properly as well. Idk.

On a completely different note, can anyone tell me if 'Fringe', 'Vampire Diaries' or the new 'Melrose Place' are worth watching?
