Wiiiiii?
Dear friends of the gaming persuasion,
Gameloft is giving away Wiis if you are willing to give them an email account you don't mind getting spammed. I'm not eligible, so I'm spreading the wealth :)
We got a Wii in the office. Within 5 minutes of setting it up, someone managed to lose their grip on the Wiimote and send it crashing into the window of the breakroom during an intense game of Wii Sports Tennis. Sigh.
In other game-related news, there's a really interesting interview from Newsweek with the head of EA (Part I, Part II, Part III). An EA employee, a fellow by the name of Will Wright, is the guest on tonight's Colbert Report. Probably worth watching since Colbert is a gaming nut and Will Wright is freakin' Will Wright. Will Wright Will Wright Will Wright Will Wright.
I am regretting my decision to buy Parallels much less now. Over the weekend they released an update that lets you use your Boot Camp partition in Parallels, and are testing a transport wizard to allow your old Windows installs to be migrated to a Parallels Guest OS. This means that I can host the entire contents of my old desktop completely within my MacBook. And they also introduced coherence mode. Rather than explain what it does, I'll just show you. That's right, you can replace the dock with a start button.
Also, I am only around to post right now because Stacie is sick. Rhinovirii suck. Like a Hoover on high shag.
