U.S.E. RETURNS!!!
Friday night was set ablaze by an amazing "secret" performance by U.S.E. in Seattle. It'd been over a year since their last show. It was an amazing experience to have them release that build up of party music power all over us. By the end of the show we were all tired, happy and moist.
The new songs played were incredible. I really feel like theres more energy in them. Like their a bit more substantial then simply carefree party music, but without the loss of that element.
I can't wait for their new CD.
Saturday was pretty sweet. I hung out with Aaron and Emily during the day. We went and ate at pepper sisters. The food was a little busy for me, but those two seemed to enjoy it :-P I will say their bread pillows are out of this world. Right after leaving I found $50 on the sidewalk which magically made lunch free. Who doesn't love free food :-D
Later we met up with Kari, Erin, and Lauren and all went to see Hot Fuzz. Wow what a fucked up movie. Funny off its ass with tons of "WTF!?" moments.
After that we all pretty much just went and hung out at the Alabama house. Cody and Aaron were sporting their sweet new tats and rocking the pool table. That is until they challenged Matt and I and got their asses handed to them.... Twice :-D
Sunday..... well Sunday was pretty fucking boring. I sat at home ALL day. I should have gone outside cause DAMN was it nice out. Instead I watch Beerfest (sucked) and later iRobot on TV (good movie) all while playing Pokemon :-P
So a pretty good waste of a beautiful day. Oh well, there will be more.... right?
