This is the last straw (pardon the pun :-)
I came to work today excited because it was payday which also meant Smoothie Day! :-D
Ordering smoothies from Robeks every week has been one of the few things that have made my job bearable over the past two years. But today I'm finally saying "No more!'
Upon receiving my smoothie today, the lid was off and it had leaked all over the box. Not only on my cup but on other people's cups too. It was just a sticky, slimy mess. To make it even better, I paid $6.50 for 32oz. but I only got a 24oz. So I'm just a little pissed.
Now I COULD call them up and talk to
Abbe, the lady that runs the place. But I just really don't want to. I mean whats she going to do? Offer me a free one later. No, sorry, I'm just done. This isn't nearly the first time they've made a huge mess delivering our order. And being that its such a big order and we place it every week, You'd think they could devise a way to do things a little more efficiently rather than just throw everything in a cardboard box and call it good.
But whatever. I've always liked
Jamba Juice better. And now that I own stock, why should I keep supporting their lack luster competitor? Not to mention Jamba also has their amazing
"Secret Menu!" I've always said if Jamba were to open up shop here in Bellingham, they'd destroy Robeks. Until then, I can patiently wait. It's not like the Valley is THAT far for my smoothie fix anyway :-D
