Over Share Time
So last night, in preparation for my halloween costume (Spartan for those of you who haven't been keeping up :-) I shaved... pretty much my entire body. ...yeah lol, I was AMAZED at the amount of hair I had covering me! OMG!! it could've been used to make an afro wig for a child!
Anyway, I also never realized what a difference all that hair made. It used to serve as a sort of buffer between me and whatever I was touching, like my clothes! Clothes feel SO freaking weird without hair!!
Almost uncomfortable. I understand now why girl's clothes are so soft compared to guys. They don't have the barrier guys have between them and their clothes. I'm sure in a day or two I'll be used to it, and after awhile it'll all grow back anyway. But write now, just wearing pants is a whole new experience :-P
So to clear any other lingering curiosity, I am still getting my chest waxed when Halloween is closer. Tara (who works at a spa) informed me that its best to shave a week or two before so that the hair isn't super long and will come out easier. And after some of the things people have told me about this whole waxing thing, I want things to go as easy as possible!
I REALLY hope all this time and effort pays off in the end. I've never put so much work into a Halloween costume before. It would completely suck if the final results were anything less than impressive.
.... I need to go running! anyone wanna join me? :-D
