(no subject)
What a beginning day of camp. It was CRAZY! It was hot as hell out to begin with. We went bowling this morning and somehow Sebastian managed to walk into the girls bathroom and once he was in the stall and realized it, he decided he was gonna stay there until all the girls were gone... which was at least 20 minutes later. Then we get to the park which wasn't bad in the shade where we were eating but once we got in the sun it was sooo hot! The kids are all complaining that they are hot and thirsty and Robby stole my water bottle because it was frozen and he wanted something cold. I chased him around for a long time to get that back, pulled Jacob off the tops of the jungle jim about 8 times and yelled at Alex for destroying things. Gloria had the kids over playing duck, duck, goose except when you were choosen you had water poured on your head. That was good for them because they got to cool off. We sat down for a little bit trying to cool off and then one of the kids runs up to us, "Sebastian is stuck in the baby swing!" And he was really stuck. Gloria and I tried to flip him over backwards so he would slide out but we couldn't pick him up far enough. After standing there for a few minutes just looking at him while more kids crowded around from all the screams about it, I finally decided to go get a cooler so he could stand on it to get out. By the time I got back with it, all of the kids were watching but we lifted him up far enough to stand on the cooler and after a little bit of scooting, we got him out. What a way to start the year...
A side note: I miss my dorms girls so incredably much!! I was talking to Angela a little bit ago and she ran into Lauren at Walmart so I talked to Lauren for a few minutes and I just miss them and their craziness!!!
