Sometimes we think
we know what we want in life and then *BAM* something cold and hard hits us in the face. It's not always pleasant but most of us survive, whether we're going in the same direction we started in or not. I know what I want in life and I'm constantly being hit in the face with different things, all of which I KNOW I can handle. Strength isn't an easy trait to have....and it's seriously hard to maintain. I think that strength is one of the high maintenance things people can contain. If you don't use it, you lose it. If you use it too much, you become desensitized....and that's not good. Holy shit, love isn't anything at all like I imagined it to be....it's so much better. It's like with every passing day I learn something new about it. It's amazing in so many ways and it's true.....it's not always a walk in the park. (Granted that our relationship has mostly, literally.....been a walk in the park. ha!) I mean, patience really is something that keeps you going. Patience and love. Crap. Love isn't glamorous, perfect or gaudy. It's pure, raw and beautiful. Jesus, guys....I've found my match. It's wonderful; love.
I can't explain it.
Maybe I'm just in a really lovey dovey mood....but whatever it may be, I'm diggin' it.
I like how it feels; love.
It's one facor of being human that I adore; love.
Something about him drives me wild.....
makes me want to run and touch the end of the world and run back.
He and I....
we're simply amazing.
I love my chunky monkey so very much it's crazy.
I love how I love him and care for him so much....
yet I'm not one of those OHMYGAHWE'RETOTALLYGETTINGMARRIEDANDHAVINGBABIESWHENIGRADUATE. That's not my style.
Although thinking of the future is FUN, I'll refrain from doing so completely.....until I know that its safe to dream out loud again. :)
