visit to the temple
Today I made a special visit ^^ I went to the SV Temple here in Monroeville! The visit was very rewarding. We went into the lobby and many people were about today. After looking lost for a few moments someone actually asked us if we needed help. We were given a tour and a walk through of the normal way things work in the temple and how you worship properly. After I told him about how I studied Hinduism he looked at me with a kind of surprised look and said "You probably know more than about half the people that visited today."
We all had a good laugh and the temple itself was just gorgeous! After participating in a small Puja ceremony we were directed to the kitchen at the temple. They actually make food for the devotees that is very cheap ^^ and boy is it tasty!! I cannot wait to bring other guests to the temple and to visit it again. I'm very happy and feel well fed spiritually, mentally, and physically!
