mes amis, i have been to all my classes. they are all very small and interesting. i love "growing up in africa". advanced spanish is pretty easy. "exile" seems like a real chore. and i just sit in the back of russian lit and make fun of people and stare at vincent gallito and dream about russia.
i have a lot of homework this weekend (read the odyssey, write a short paper on it, read 60 pages of articles, read a 180 page memoir novel and write up discussion questions for it, some spanish stuff/memorizing, memoir paper rewrite, read two "short" stories by pushkin). so since i have no classes on fridays, i am pretty much going to sit in the park or library tomorrow and read all day and see how much i can get done in the hopes of having part of my weekend free for the cin
