today i went to the nyu bookstore to pick up the books i couldn't find used on amazon.com. in case you didn't know, school books are outrageously expensive. i only have one actual text book. it's small and soft cover and still cost me 80 dollars. disgusting. can someone tell me why the prices of books are so inflated? there must be a reason (like why rx drugs are so expensive, gas, etc, those i know, but this i just can't figure out).
then i went to kmart and bought laundry soap and dryer sheets because i have do laundry sometime this weekend.
and earlier this morning i went to the post office and mailed out some postcards.
now i am home eating lunch (ginger ale and pringles, oops) and watching blake versus nadal. as much as i hate american tennis players, i also dislike nadal, so i'm torn in my hating. but i guess i'm rooting for blake.
