urban convenience

A few moments ago, I stepped off the 34 trolley, walked past a church building, and up the stairs into my apartment building. In a few moments, I will leave my apartment building, walk about half a block to the other church on the east side of my block, and vote. So convenient!

This will be my first time voting in a primary election, actually. Even though I know it doesn't mean much, I've been reluctant to formalize my political leanings by registering with a specific party. But in Philadelphia, most of the decision concerning a mayor happens during the primaries. And this year...there are several candidates I would consider voting for, but there are also several factors to consider before voting for any of them. I'm not sure I'm making the Right choice with my vote, but I think it's a choice I can live with.
