It's Been A While..
I haven't updated in ages, mostly due in part to a lack of motivation. A lot has happened since the last time I wrote, and I don't even know where to begin. For starters, I'm moving back to Peterborough. Ottawa is just not for me. I've been getting sign after sign after sign that I am just NOT meant to be here. It has been a wonderful learning experience, and I have met a lot of really wonderful people that I'm going to miss, but I just miss my family, and I miss my friends. My life is just not the same without them here. Jon is going to come with me, which is absolutely amazing. He's quitting his job, and leaving everything familiar behind him to come and start over in Peterborough with me, and I really can't wait.
I found out last week that a good friend of mine, Pat, passed away. The shock of it all was absolutely unreal. I still can't believe it. It's just so hard to imagine that I'm never going to see him again. I see his smile, and I hear his laugh and it just makes me so sad that I won't ever see or hear that again. I am so appreciative of the time I did have with him. Getting to know Pat and the other roomates was a time in my life that I won't soon forget.
Meg, Steph and I had our tea leaves read last Friday, and it was phenomenal. We really connected with Fiona, and we've been invited back to hang out with her and her friends. I'm really excited about this, as I have yet to find a group of friends that is whole heartedly as interested in clairvoyencey and metaphysical new age stuff as I am, and I think it would be great to hang out with a group of people and have these interests nurtured.
