Everyone should get on my case for not posting so I can get into the habbit again ^_~
Anywho, let me try to fill you in on my life--
My Birthday-
I had an amazing day with Les, who came to town early just to celebrate my birthday with me ^_^ We had avanti's for supper and went on a very pleasant walk through the splash park behind the Catholic Highschool in Bloomington. I would consider the rest of the details "girl talk" so not to bore male readers I will stop the story there and if anyone wants to know more they can message me.
As for the birthday with the family... I had a good one! it seemed rushed though... frazzled and hectic *shrug* That's what happens with school and a large family though. Cake was wonderful, gifts were all appreciated. I got an awesome camera, which I sadly haven't had too much time to experiment with, but I can't wait to go out on a little photoshoot to see how it works.
School-
Freshmen Orientation was long and boring and not of much help in my opinion, but it's over! woot woot! But classes started, boo! I'm having a tough time settling into a routine again... I feel behind already because things are starting to pile up now that there are assignments. I can't wait to feel like I have everything under control again. I think I'm going to take all of Thursday off from my social life just for me and my schoolwork to catch up.
Classes-
.I love Principles of Bible Study with Tygrett... I think that's my favorite class. We talk a lot about reading scripture in the right setting and context.
.As for Freddie J... I have a hard time paying attention in his class. He's always happy, and seems passionate... but his voice still moves at the same pace with the same inflections, it's not monotone, it's just 1,2,3.. 1,2,3 *shrug* I can't explain it. P.S. only his left eyebrow moves, and it moves all the time.
.Mbugua (sociology) is tough stuff, but we have the best discussions in her class... I love that
.AIM is pointless
.Into to Worldviews is just there.
New People-
Erin and Desmond I talk to the most when it comes to new people. I also like Brenda, Sam, Josh, Joy, and Rob.
I had met Erin 2x before and didn't put it all together until the third time we met. Desmond and I had a cool talk about Bigstuf... Both Erin and Desmond dropped out of my sociology class :(
Balloon Fest-
I walked through the cornfield and jumped the fence to get there.
FFFFF-
I volunteered and ran the golf section for an hour with Les, it was funish. I saw the gonzales' that made me happy
CONCERT!!-
I saw Hush Sound, Hello Stranger, and Rooney at my first 18 and over only experience. It was amazing... Those are all three amazing bands, Rooney being my favorite though.
P.S. it was my bday present from Rob Wilson. Amazing time!
